MEET OUR TEAM
STYLIST | Tracy has been with the Chop Shop for 22 years, specializing in razor cuts & lived in color. She's married with twin bonus daughters, two dogs & two cats, all whom she adores. She & her family love the rescues! When she's not working, she loves to travel, hike & garden, all while drinking Starbucks. Her favorite place she's visited is Joshua Tree National Park, but loves the California & Oregon Coast just as much. Her favorite music includes Arcade Fire, Radiohead & Polyphonic Spree.
SHAMPOO TECH | Julia has been with the Chop Shop since July 2022. She is in college, majoring in elementary education. She is a local from Highland & has a yellow lab puppy named Charlie who is her world. Some hobbies include hanging out with friends & family, shopping, & substitute teaching when there's time. She loves (in no particular order) Starbucks, Harry Styles, country music, the Cubs, & the 4th of July. Her favorite vacation was to Covington, GA where "The Vampire Diaries" was filmed.
SHAMPOO TECH | Karissa has worked at Chop Shop since August 2022. This Highland resident has a significant other named Tony, and they have a 4 kiddos & one on the way! Aiden (10) Makenzie (9) Elizabeth (8) Maci (7) and Bane (her pup) are all looking forward to meeting baby boy Landon due February 2022. Her favorite holiday is Christmas, but loves the summer since the kids are off school. She'll snack on just about anything, and doesn't have a loyalty to Starbucks or Dunkin since she loves both!
STYLIST | Morgan graduated cosmetology school in Dec 2021 & started with us shortly after. She is now on the floor doing hair, nails & waxing. Every year she looks forward to Thanksgiving & loves spending time with her family in Texas. When she's not styling, you can find her playing games, taking walks outside (especially during the fall), or watching TV with her boyfriend. She's an early bird who enjoys Starbucks & frozen chocolate covered blueberries. Be sure to check out her nail art skills!
FRONT DESK | Sara has been with us since 2015 & we're sure you've seen her bright smile when you walk in. She's from Dolton, IL & has a 12 year old son she's super proud of. She is an animal lover caring for her pup named Hope, her cat Polly, Fluffy her snake, & a rat named Crackers. When she has free time she loves to read. She enjoys fall best, especially Halloween. She always chooses Dunkin' so she can get a sweet treat on the side! You might find her up late laughing at Golden Girls.
STYLIST | Gwen has only been with the Chop Shop for 9 years, but has been styling hair for 63 years! She's originally from East Chicago, and has three sons who have given her 4 beautiful granddaughters. When she's not behind the chair, she loves crafting and cuddling with her cat Pete (named after Perdue Pete, where all three of her boys attended). She runs on Dunkin', and says "Starbucks grows hair on your chest, and I don't need any of that!". We're not going to argue with her.
